About us

We created this course based on our experience working with digital environments and analyzing threats. At the beginning of our journey, we encountered a common issue: most cybersecurity materials were either too complex or lacked clear structure. This often created a sense of overload and made it difficult to understand even basic concepts. We spent a significant amount of time organizing knowledge on our own, identifying patterns, and understanding how different elements of systems are connected.
This experience became the foundation for the course. We decided to design the materials in a way that supports gradual learning, without abrupt transitions or unnecessary complexity. The main idea is to present cybersecurity as a system where each element has its place and interacts with others. This approach helps learners not only remember information but also build a complete understanding of how things work.
Our mission is to help people better navigate digital environments through consistent learning and clear explanations. We aim to create materials that support skill development and help organize knowledge in a meaningful way. The course is designed for those who want to explore cybersecurity at their own pace and gradually build system-based thinking.

The course author is a Andrejs Makejevs - Threat Intelligence Researcher with over 9 years of experience in analyzing digital threats. His professional background includes studying threat behavior, working with large volumes of data, and identifying patterns in complex digital processes. He has worked with teams focused on information processing, system monitoring, and building structured analytical approaches.
Throughout his career, he has participated in projects that required working with different types of data and adapting methods to changing conditions. His experience includes developing internal training materials for teams, which helped him refine a clear and logical way of explaining complex topics. He has also worked with organizations where consistency, precision, and structured thinking were essential.
In addition to his professional work, the author has experience teaching individuals with different levels of background. He has helped learners understand both basic and intermediate topics through examples and logical connections. Over time, he has worked with hundreds of students, gaining insight into common challenges at different learning stages.
His approach is based on gradual topic development, where each element builds on the previous one. He focuses not only on content but also on presentation, ensuring that materials are clear and easy to follow. This experience became the foundation for the Cyvexornir course, combining structure, consistency, and a practical approach to learning cybersecurity.
